The Edinburgh Traumatic Stress Centre is an out-patient centre. Their team comprises of highly experienced staff with 10 years experience of treating Veterans suffering from Combat PTSD. All treatments performed at The Edinburgh Traumatic Stress Centre are experienced-based practices.
Referrals
The Edinburgh Traumatic Stress Centre is an arm of the NHS and referrals
can be made by a GP, Psychiatrst or perhaps a CPN, however your GP must
be aware that a referral has been made. Self-Referrals are not available
and there does tend to be a waiting list of a couple of months.
These people mean business and care deeply for Veterans and have just secured
funding from the Scottish Executive for a pilot service in Lothian which
will deal with all problems that Veterans are experiencing.
