Long Term Relief

Veterans In Need objectives are to relieve suffering, hardship and distress, if possible for all men and women who have served time with any branch of the Royal navy, Merchant Navy, Army, Royal Air Forces, Ambulance service, Nursing Services, Fire brigade, Prison service, Police service, Allies of The Crown whom have been involved in active service or conflict.

We work with any ex-Service organisation acting individually or in concert with a third party. We have experience in assisting Veterans/Families with Benefits, Housing, Mental Health, War Pensions, Army Pensions, Employment, Schooling and Other Health Issues to mention a few.

When the resource is available we can arrange one to one chat for Veterans who can be sure that they are talking with people who have been there. Were not Doctors, CPNs, Psychiatrists or trained Psychologists, more like-minded buddies that have had similar problems.

Recruitment & Resource.

At this time were are not a registered charity, this site is the result of the gathering of minds of individuals from all over the UK who collectively have over the past 10 years, well in excess of over 30 years of welfare and support skills in support of our under-represented Veterans. And desirably so, akin to any competent group, we all not only have general experience in this type of work, but are also gifted in areas of specific & different fields of expertise, deriving from all walks of life. We are all ex-service men and women with zero hidden agendas.

Collective effort thus far insists that good intentions alone won't get the job done. Like that of all worthwhile endeavours the amount of time and effort our unpaid team put in increases or decreases in direct proportion to all resource that is available at our disposal, not least active members and finance. To this end all volunteers & financial contributions are again, warmly welcomed.

Created as a not-for-profit organisation, Veterans In Need can also offer expanded advantages to individual donors who wish to support our programs financially. To keep our programs healthy and viable, we are currently seeking financial support from various organisations and the public, to provide assistance for existing and future programs.

With this progressive format in mind, Veterans In Need has become assertive in pursuit of funds from other foundations, corporate and other benefactors.

Veterans In Need will keep accounts transparent. Currently and for so many, many years we have been using our own personal funds.
