Foreword
Regardless of the impetus to employ themselves within the ranks and structure of Central or Local Government, whether it be in the guise of a politician or civil servant, many of these individuals simply lack the political wit, will, selflessness and courage to survive in this ferocious environment. The unfortunate consequence of this psychology dictates that many such persons simply relinquish their valid authority and influence to those who they believe should be identified as their social and political betters. For many such a cowardly individual these betters are anyone who is in possession of a senior position to themselves, who in turn, tremble in the presence of, and will never confront the Civil Service. Such dereliction of duty stops not at petty domestic issues but transgresses into foreign policy, even if the result of their servility results in the blood and carnage of unnecessary and often illegal war.
The Veterans' Template
Historic analogies that any society can and should be judged on its sense of fair play, in the light of governmental transparent lack of integrity and clarity, has never been more relevant than it is today.
There can be no other start point when assessing the measure of societal fair play by gauging the treatment and aftercare of the men and women who volunteer their lives in the defence of this island race and everything that this society represents. For it is the same decision makers, who at their whim, determine and execute the degree of compassion, welfare and prospects of the Veteran, who dictate the attention and responsibility to every member of the non-combatant electorate and their children.
In the absence of governmental integrity and clarity, perfectly reasonable thus arguable supposition insists that repeated public platform reporting of governmental abuse, neglect and abandonment of the Veteran community is a clear indication in absolutely no uncertain terms from government to the electorate as to the degree of interest relating to the governments intent and duty of care to the public.
Only when a position has been achieved and identified that insists that Veterans are treated, not with preferential treatment, but with respect and gratitude, then the electorate can breathe more easily in certain knowledge that the current sickening psychological template has been broken and will have a positive knock on effect to all of humanity that lives and breathes on these islands of ours.
The electorate can begin to relax for each other and their children, when gratitude and relaxation is the privilege of, the incapacitated Veteran.
Political acumen which is one of the properties of humanity must be recognised and employed for the benefit of all, not the few who in turn are rewarded with position and privilege for minimum representation. From time immemorial, so few, have never been owed so much, by so many.
Historic analogies that any society can and should be judged on its sense of fair play, in the light of governmental transparent lack of integrity and clarity, has never been more relevant than it is today. Read the Veterans Template.

Many good, solid, strong men and women who cannot be bullied, badgered, bought or blackmailed have gone out on a limb to ensure that Veterans have been awarded the assistance. We post our thanks in the Hall Of Fame.
Our Hall Of Shame will not turn into a turkey shoot, however shaming our politicians and others alike may just be the tonic required to gain a promotion to the Hall of Fame!
