Veteran, never veteran

Never write Veteran with less than a capital V.

Routine use of the capital V when referring to our Veterans will put an inescapable and abrupt end to the paralleled psychological indifference that is thrust at the elderly of this island race. Such an employment of this unambiguous grammar will also remind our local and central office personnel that we are not so old and so vulnerable, that we will automatically consume without visible complaint, the menu of abuse that is force-fed to Veterans.

Regardless how often our hard-earned title is referred to in the same correspondence, never use the lower key, it is tantamount to stabbing yourself in the back.

Veteran is an important signature which has been consistently eroded, thus paving the way of ruthless neglect by many of those elected and appointed personnel who would rather witness your post-service suicide than confront and cater for the needs of Veterans.

With ruthless clarity of vision you must decidedly opt to see the startling truth of the cowardice that is nurtured behind the closed doors of local and central government. Ask yourself this one pertinent question; Let alone facing the beaten enemies of this island race, would these people have the courage to face you and your unit on the battlefield?

If you have already encountered the atrocious fashion in which the weak politician views the aftercare of the Veteran, then its likely that you understand that as these people lack the morale fibre and courage to face you in battle, they are awash with courage when it comes to hiding behind legislation and attacking the Veteran.

The weak politician is the one who casts their vote in favour of carnage and bloodshed, normally in the certain knowledge that their own skin is safe. It is the Veterans of our 4 countries who have protected the weak politician from the horrors of war, by serving to contain that the possibility of war, ever reaches these shores. The weak politician is protected from the reality of the service that is provided by the Veteran through a vein of loyalty and focus that is bereft of, and alien to the weak politician.

When writing your next correspondence to any politician, simply ask of them, that when they respond to you, they refer to Veterans with a capital V. Their response or lack of response referring to the Veteran will give you an indication of their true psychology.

Veterans-In-Need are not seeking confrontation but co-operation. What will set this group aside from other well-being Veterans groups and weak politicians is that we will rock boats, we will be assertive, and we will not allow ourselves, our principles, and our duty to one another, to be Bullied, Badgered, Bought or Blackmailed from us.

The Veterans Vote will one day count, and individual politicians should stand and be counted for Veterans, or get out of politics.
